How To Get Accepted Into Your Program

You have finally decided what and where you want to study. Now you need to make sure that you meet the entry requirements. They'll vary so make sure to study them closely.

You probably won't get accepted if you don't fulfill the requirements. You can usually find these on their site, along with other important information. For instance, how much English you need to know will vary depending on your program. You don't need to know much if you just want to study for six months, but if you want to get part of your degree above they need to know that you can keep up. You'll have to do an standardized test before you can meet the requirements.
You may also need to take a closer look at some other requirements. These could include:

  • Providing the university with your prior qualifications and grades.
  • Be interviewed by an international admissions counselor or someone from the university
  • Write an essay or statement of intent. This is your opportunity to show how much you want this!

Applying to programs when you don't meet the entry level requirements is a waste of time and money. Find programs that suit you, your interest and skill level and apply as soon as possible. That way, you can make the process as smooth as possible for you.
